A Home Away from Home is what this lovely old house is! Valley-Fair is a 125 yrs-old fully furnished house, situated in
a central yet quiet locality of Madikeri town.
The house has a
telephone, TV, Refrigerator, a kitchen equipped for cooking with Gas, Mixie,
etc., adequate Crockery & Cutlery, Geysers in both bathrooms and 24-hrs
running water.
An inviting Verandah overlooks the compound. The house is perfect for
families, especially elderly people. And if you have pets traveling
with you, this is one place where they will be welcome!
A simple but comfortable house ~ we will not blame you if you never
want to leave!!
With the added benefit of living in town, one can easily access the
various places of interest in and around Madikeri

Housekeeping: A live-in caretaker takes care of the house-keeping and
if required, will get the guests food of their choice from the local
hotels. Menu cards are provided.
Coffee & tea will be served in-house, on order, at an extra charge. A
simple breakfast of bread and eggs can also be provided, on order, at an
extra charge. Sightseeing places: The Omkareshwara Temple & Raja’s Seat are at
walking distances. The Fort, The Raja’s tombs at Gaddige & Abbey Falls
are short drives away.

Things to do: Walk to Raja's seat to enjoy the spectacular sunset and
the musical fountain.
Walk about the picturesque town & trek along
the outskirts.
Plan visits to Nisargadhama & The Golden Temple (35 kms),
The Elephant Camp at Dubbarre (35 kms), Talacauvery – the source of
the River
Kaveri (40 kms), The Coffee Research Centre at Chettall (25 kms). |
An Estate visit & Trekking can also be arranged, for which the guests
will be charged a fee.
Tariff: Rs.1,500/- per night for the full house for an occupancy of
five persons. Extra mattresses can be provided at Rs.250/- per head.
